out of this world amazing face paint job by the nimble fingers of Stephanie Hurtado.
god, i love working with designers.
probably took about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish to apply the whole scene on my face.

i think i like this one better than the previous one. i don't think stephanie does, but fuck what she thinks. just kidding, steph. besos ;)

RE Store Fashion shoot

RE is the name of a sort of upscale consignment store that was created by my friend Didima Martinez who is a rockin art director at my school. And she's from Spain, my dream homeland. Buenisimo. I was fortnate enough to have been introduced to her by a giddy teacher at my school. A week later she asked me to shoot a lookbook for the store. "Awesome!" I excite, "but I have zero time to do this." "Boo," she said, "but oh well. Adios holmes." And then a window of opportunity opened up for me. I confronted her new photographer about the project and basically asked her to let me shoot it, to which she quite effortlessly gave it up to me and slam dunkafunk! the rest is historical imagery. Here are my three favorite images from the shoot. Hopefully we'll do another series to expand the book. Bigups to Angie-Mac (red hair) and Emma Livergood for being fun and patient models.

American Psycho Movie poster

Baller designer Meghan Svetich (who's wonderful VIP Wooden Boat Fest invite I shot a few quarters back) and I worked together to make this poster for one of our favorite films. We are mighty proud of it.

addendum: top poster is our newspaper print poster. bottom poster would be like outside the theater one - whatever the industry term is for that.
